🛡 TradeShield is Elite Roblox Market's buyer protection system. It holds your payment securely until you confirm the item has been delivered. It is not a product guarantee or warranty.

What TradeShield Is

TradeShield is a buyer protection system built into every marketplace transaction on Elite Roblox Market. When you place an order, your money is not released to the seller immediately. Instead, it is held securely by us until you — the buyer — confirm that you have received exactly what was promised.

This protects both parties: sellers know the payment exists before delivering, and buyers know they can dispute before funds are released.

How It Works — Step by Step

  1. 1
    Buyer places order & pays
Payment is captured by Stripe and held securely. The seller is notified immediately. Funds do not touch the seller's account yet.
  2. 2
    Seller marks as delivered
The seller delivers the item (Robux, account, in-game item, etc.) and marks the order as delivered. The 72-hour window begins.
  3. 3
    Buyer confirms or disputes
The buyer verifies delivery and clicks Confirm Receipt, which releases funds to the seller. Or, the buyer opens a dispute within 72 hours if something is wrong.
  4. 4
    Auto-release after 72 hours
If the buyer takes no action within 72 hours of delivery, funds are automatically released to the seller. This prevents sellers from being held in limbo indefinitely.
⚠️ Do not click "Confirm Receipt" before you have received and verified your item. Once you confirm, the funds are released to the seller and the transaction is considered complete. This action cannot be reversed.

Opening a Dispute

If the seller does not deliver, delivers the wrong item, or you experience any issue, you can open a dispute from your order page within 72 hours of delivery being marked. Here's how:

  • Go to Account → Orders and click on the order
  • Click "Open Dispute" and describe what went wrong
  • Include any evidence (screenshots, chat logs)
  • Our team will review and respond within 24 hours

While a dispute is open, funds remain frozen — neither buyer nor seller can access them until we resolve the case.

What TradeShield Covers vs. Does Not Cover

TradeShield does NOT guarantee the quality, performance, or future condition of any product. Sellers are fully responsible for the accuracy of their listings. TradeShield is a payment-holding mechanism, not a product warranty.
Situation Covered?
Seller never delivers the item ✓ Covered — dispute and get refunded
Seller delivers the wrong item or wrong quantity ✓ Covered — open a dispute with evidence
Item delivered as described but buyer changes mind ✗ Not covered — buyer's remorse
Roblox bans account after confirmed delivery ✗ Not covered — game developer action
Robux pending period (seller's responsibility to disclose) ✗ Not covered — read listing terms before buying
Transaction conducted outside our platform ✗ Not covered — always trade on-platform
Buyer confirmed receipt but item was defective ✗ Not covered — do not confirm until verified

About Sale Contracts

All sales on Elite Roblox Market are direct contracts between the buyer and the seller. Elite Roblox Market facilitates the platform and provides TradeShield as a trust infrastructure — we are not a party to the sale contract itself.

We may assist in resolving disputes, but we cannot guarantee outcomes in all cases, particularly where evidence is unclear or the dispute falls outside our coverage scope.

Seller Responsibility

Sellers are fully responsible for:

  • The accuracy and honesty of their listings
  • Disclosing any known limitations (e.g. pending Robux, 30% tax not included)
  • Delivering the exact item described within a reasonable timeframe
  • Responding to disputes through our platform

Sellers who repeatedly fail to deliver or are found to have misrepresented listings may be suspended from the platform.

💡 Pro tip: Always read the full listing description before purchasing — especially for Robux listings which may have conditions like game pass requirements or pending periods. TradeShield does not cover issues that were disclosed in the listing.
